| 0:24.8 | Baptist Convention has been a topic of interest and it's not just because I |
| 0:28.8 | graduated from southeastern which is one of the big Southern Baptist seminaries. |
| 0:33.2 | It's also just because it matters to the United States. |
| 0:37.4 | It matters for people who live in this country |
| 0:40.8 | because it's the largest Protestant denomination. |
| 0:43.0 | And they've been a bellwether for years as they go, so goes the rest of American |
| 0:48.5 | Evangelicalism often. |
| 0:49.8 | And so with that in mind, I'm going to once again give you some information some of the latest |
| 0:56.2 | updates concerning the Southern Baptist Convention. |
| 0:59.4 | Knowing that some of you have left the SBC, some of you are not interested in being part of the |
| 1:04.2 | SBC with good reason, but there are still some who are in the Southern Baptist Convention trying to |
| 1:11.0 | slow down the regression that is happening or with hope in their hearts. Some think that |
| 1:17.9 | they can actually take back the Southern Baptist Convention for more of a Theologically Orthodox and conservative |
| 1:26.1 | understanding of public theology. |
| 1:29.8 | And so I want to do this as sort of a service for you as well. |
| 1:34.7 | You're going to be going to the convention in June if you're in the SBC. |
| 1:37.5 | And these are some of the things that are going to be discussed |
