Good morning everyone and welcome back to the messy masterpiece podcast for Chad and

Tori. Happy Sunday. Happy Sunday fam. Happy Sunday fam. We hope that you're getting ready

to plan your week and create rhythms and pick a word of the week and just get ready for

a week that way we can be intentional as we walk through it instead of just trying

to be a reactionary. Yeah and it's a good week. It's a thankful week. This is the week, the Lord

hath made. But it's Thanksgiving for us here in the States and so we're excited for that.

And but other than that, I think we're just going to jump into today's devotional. Yes, you guys,

let's do it. We are in the Thrive Bible and we are reading out of Proverbs 31. Y'all already know.

It is titled True Beauty. It says, Charm is deceptive and beauty does not last, but a woman who fears

the Lord will be greatly praised. That was Proverbs 31.30. The love letter from God says,

beloved child, I created you in my own image. I am the one who makes you beautiful. Look at your

reflection in my mirror and you'll forever feel beautiful. What you may see is broken inside

yourself. I see as a way in which I can show myself to the world. My love and mercy will shine

brightest through those broken places. I will not only use what is broken, I will also help you

become even better and more beautiful than you could ever imagine. You are loved. My beautiful

creation. Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says, God has created us to be a reflection of his

beauty. There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel beautiful, but if we put all our effort into

decorating the outside, the inside can begin to disintegrate and we may forget that our true beauty

is a reflection of God's love in us. The treasure of truth says, a life that touches and transforms

others reflects true beauty. Yeah, I am, I had like two thoughts as you were reading and the first

one was that when you read the part about how God calls us to look at ourselves through his mirror,

yeah, is I just can't help but think that like whenever someone says, oh, that person's pretty
