Good morning everyone and welcome to another mornings with the Masters, where we devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Today, we are in New Morning Mercies, so let's just jump on in and be encouraged. This is what it says.

No need to fear what God will ask of you because in the asking is always the

promise of grace to empower your heart and hands.

Consider God's call to Moses to lead the Israelites out of their cruel captivity in Egypt.

In Moses's reply, we see a reflection of our frequent response

when God asks something of us.

I'm reading out of Exodus 3 and 4 if you're following along in your Bible.

Starting in verse 7. Then the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their task masters.

I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians

and to bring them up out of the land to go to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Ammarites, the Pezorites, the Hivites, and the Jesuits. Not sure if I said those, right? And now, behold the cry of the people

of Israel has come to me. And I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

Come, I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people,

the children of Israel out of Egypt.

But Moses said to God, who am I that I should go to

Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt? He said, so God said, but I will be with you and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you.

When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this

serve God on this mountain.

But Moses said to the Lord, we're picking up in chapter 4, verse 10.

Oh my Lord, I am not eloquent either in the past or since you have spoken to

your servant but I am slow of speech and of tongue.

Then the Lord said to him, a little spicy.
