I don't know what to say right now.

I'm recording this podcast on Wednesday evening.

Earlier today, the Kentucky Attorney General announced a Kentucky Grand Jury decided to indict

just one officer in the Breonna Taylor case.

Former Louisville police officer Brett Hankinson, he was fired in June.

He has been charged with three counts of, quote, wanton endangerment in connection with

the police raid at Breonna Taylor's apartment that led to her death.

Just for clarity, this is a charge for that police officer firing blindly into several

apartments and recklessly endangering Taylor's neighbors during the raid.

But it has nothing to do with the death of Breonna Taylor.

And just to be clear, the officer that fired all those random shots hit property, damaged

property, but didn't actually hit damage or kill any people.

He's being charged essentially for reckless behavior and property damage, but not for an

actual death.

A woman is dead and no one's being held accountable, responsible, no justice is being served for

this woman's death.

I've read earlier this week that Louisville was securing the downtown area.

They were putting up barricades around the government buildings and they were, what

it seemed to be expecting mayhem, an anticipation of an announcement about these charges.

So hearing that, I didn't have high hopes also because it's been how long, four months,
