I am your podcasting host, the Capitals correspondent, JJ Regan.

With me, she is the Capitals reporter, and she is the Princess Fiona to my Shrek.

I didn't expect that.

Well, Donkey will be on a little bit later. That's the best part. Today, we are going to react to the Vegas expansion draft. I don't know if you know this, Jill, but the cat was lost somebody in the expansion draft. What? I didn't hear that. We're going to be reacting to that, including the loss of Nate Schmidt, obviously, and what the cats will do now. We're going to talk about the upcoming NHL draft, and we are going to open up the mailbag.

But first, Jill, I brought in a prop today.

Oh, no.

I know that's not probably the best for a podcast.

Right.

Considering most of this is not visual, although they are filming us.

I'll make sure this part's on TV. Okay. So I got a, for those who don't know, my wife and I are expecting a baby this August. Yay. A friend of ours texted us this weekend and said, I'm coming over. I got a gift for the baby. You know, people keep giving us gifts for the baby. Yeah. So he comes in and he's got this sly smile on his face and he says, he's got two boxes

and he says, they're both for the baby, but one of them's really for JJ.

Oh, no. Okay. We open the box and it's this little baby onesie and it says I know I'm great but you know what else is

great commuter connections come on that isn't that fantastic it's like the greatest gift yeah it's

like the greatest gift ever ever that's a save forever like when you have one of those boxes now

where you save your wife will know this.

Yes.

You save some of the cute clothes or like some of the memorable things, you know, from your alma maters or whatever.
