Let's get started. Hey, welcome back to this shorter Thursday episode where I will take just a minute or two and tell you about somewhere I'll be

preaching soon, and then I'll use most of our remaining time sharing with you the lyrics of a

Christian music song that is having an incredible impact on me this week. In fact, this one in

particular has a real life story behind it that I will hold until the end, but you will

not soon forget. But first, let me walk you through what's coming up. If the Lord is willing,

next Sunday, May the 1st, through Wednesday, May the 4th, I'll have the opportunity to preach

a series called Mission of Mercy being a vessel for the Spirit

in the northeast Dallas-Fort Worth area. Up in Allen, Texas, I'll be preaching for the Twin

Creeks Church of Christ. I hope to use the six lessons to pull together two dominant themes in the last six months for me.

So on Sunday, May the 1st, beginning at 9 a.m., we will talk about missions of mercy,

what it means to love people like God loves them, how Jesus is conditioning us to be useful

in reaching them, and how in reach it is, not only

for you and me to get better at this, but for us to create a church culture on mission.

We will follow that up on May the 2nd through 4th, 730 each night, zooming in a little bit

to see if I am the right person for the job.

Have I conditioned myself to go on missions of mercy by dying with Christ?

By casting out demons.
