in your life, but with the release of Saw 6. I have a new cast for you. You have to

watch and review all of the movies in the Saw series. We need to talk, we need to think.

But be warned, these reviews will be filled with spoilers and the language used will offend

some people. But this is your cast. They will die. Make your choice.

Today, we're discussing Saw 4, starring Tobin Bell, Costas Mandalor, Scott Peterson, and

Donnie Wahlberg, directed by Darren Lynn Boosman. I'm Arnie, host of Now Playing. I'm Marjorie.

I'm Jacob. Now, we've said last time that the writers were making a Jigsaw trilogy, and at the end

of Part 3, we see Jigsaw's throat cut open. And I remember the pre-release hype for Saw 4,

and we saw Saw 4 in theaters again, because we're glutton for punishment. The mystery was so big

that I got drawn in. How are they bringing back Tobin Bell because they've killed him?

Is it going to be one of the horror movie clichés? Well, we were able to sew his neck back together,

and he's not really dead, even though his brain was exposed. Well, they start fucking with us

in the very first scene where we get to see the Jigsaw autopsy. But then you get to see Jigsaw

junk. Yeah, yeah. Let's see a little more Jigsaw than I ever needed to see.

The missing piece. We got to see that, but we never got to see what he was doing with those little

Jigsaw pieces he was cutting out of flesh. No, I like the autopsy scene, not that I liked the

gore in it, but it was a definite statement. Yo, this guy is dead. If we're bringing him back,

it's going to be some crazy mindfucks. Yeah, it was definitely closing the book on that. Jigsaw

is dead. And so how can you do it? And then during the autopsy, what do they find? But remember

in the last podcast, we talked about how there was a tape with some candle wax being poured on it.

And when I was watching part three, I'm like, what the hell is that? And it never comes back up.
