0:36.2	Tanya says the wild parrots lost many of their natural food sources, so they began
0:41.8	depending on feeding stations at the breeding center.
0:45.1	The entire wild population would just descend on these feeding platforms.
0:51.2	They were just completely ravenous, and we ended up having to fill these feeding stations
0:55.9	multiple times a day just so that the birds would have enough to eat, because there
0:59.6	just wasn't enough food around.
1:01.6	The wild population of parrots was devastated, but several dozen clung to survival thanks
1:07.7	to the feeding stations, and the breeding program began rebuilding right away.
1:12.7	Immediately after the hurricane, all of our focus was really just about stabilizing operations,
1:19.7	fixing the infrastructure, rebuilding cages, making these captive breeding facilities functional.
