Let's jump into some headlines real quick.

Opening day rosters coming into form, a lot of announcements in that regard on Saturday and Sunday.

Big news out of Cardinals camp on Sunday morning was Jordan Walker is officially making the team.

I'm excited.

I am a Cardinals fan for listeners that don't know.

And I think he's done all the proving that he had to do this spring.

He's skipping AAA, which is a big jump.

And he's going to be an everyday player like

they're not just bringing him up just to to be a bench bat this is it's go time um and i'm i'm

really excited like the dude is a monster and you know if he's ready he's ready and and he's cooled

off a bit like in the grapefruit league he was off to an incredible start over the first two, three weeks. And that has faded somewhat. There was a little bit of a shoulder scare. I guess that was last week. And maybe you tie that into some of him dropping off. But he was also just on such a pace that it was unsustainable. I know you're a prospect guy. We've been excited about

Jordan Walker for a long time. Yeah. What are you feeling? I mean, I know, I know baseball is hard.

I'm trying to like temper my expectations, but I'm really excited. You should be excited. He is

one of the most exciting young players in baseball already.

My one concern about what I've seen from Walker, and I've watched a lot of him this spring because he's fun to watch. The patience at the plate has not been great.
