The love of God for me, sinner, interposes his priestly son to save me from his wrath against me.

You gotta handle that or you can't make sense out of the Bible.

What does it mean to be saved?

We Christians use that word a lot,

but what does saved actually mean and what are we saved from?

to explore the true meaning of salvation and the deliverance it secures.

Hence also he, Jesus is able to save forever those who draw near to God through him. Why?

Since he always lives to make intercession for them.

Now there are three parts to that verse, breaks out very easily.

Number one, Christ is able to save forever.

Number two, let's go to the end of the verse to pick it up.

Because he always lives to make intercession for those whom he saves.

And who is that? Point number three in the middle, sandwiched in there.

Everyone who draws near to God through Him. Now I want you to think with me about the relationship between the first and the last phrase or clause in this verse.

The first one is Christ is able to say forever and the last one is

he does that because he always lives to make intercession for them.

Now what's the relationship between those two statements?

It's all in that word since or because, he is able to save forever since or because he

intercedeses or prays forever.
