When it comes down to it, there is one guy that the Celtics go to when they have to have it

in the playoffs, and that man is not Jason Tatum. Now, I know that Tatum had a record-setting

regular season, but we all know that there is a different flavor and intensity and expectation

when it comes to the postseason. The Celtics can just ask their city counterpart,

the Boston Bruins, who had the greatest regular season in the history of the NHL

and got bounced like a toy you get at the dentist's office when you're done in the first round.

Now, let's call the spade a spade. Last year in the NBA finals, Jason Tatum pretty much

threw the invisibility cloak on. He didn't score 30 points in any finals game, and he scored

under 14 points twice in the most important games of the series, the first one and the last one.

But Jalen Brown, aka Batman, was the guy who carried the mail for Boston in crunch time.

The Celtics would end up losing to the Warriors, but there was a precedent set in the postseason

with this core, and that precedent is, when it's nut-cutting time in the playoffs, the Celtics

go to Jalen Brown. Now, last night, facing a one-game deficit, the script wasn't much different,
