Summary

Today’s show is a masterclass in improving your skin without going under the knife. I’m excited to welcome back Dr. Rob Whitfield, an Austin-based plastic surgeon who specializes in breast implant removal surgeries and advanced cosmetic procedures. He invented the famous “No-Cut” Facelift, which revolutionized non-surgical facelifts for a more natural appearance.

I worked with Rob on a “No-Cut” Facelift, and he removed excess skin from my back after my weight loss. I got to be the guinea pig, and now I’m sharing everything I learned with you. On today's episode, I recount my experience and results with these procedures. Dr. Rob explains what a “No-Cut” Facelift is, plus other non-surgical procedures to tighten fat, remove excess skin, and reduce wrinkles.

We talk about radio frequency-assisted lipolysis, SoftWave therapy, Morpheus8, and a whole lot more. Plus, we get into foods that hurt your skin, injectable vs. topical peptides, and biohacking skincare. Basically, it’s everything you need to know for younger, healthier-looking skin. And let’s face it, we all want that.

Formerly Bulletproof Radio. Hi. This is a live in-person episode from the studios here in Austin, Texas.

0:27.0

And our guest today is Dr. Rob Whitfield, who's been on the show before, because he's one of the preeminent experts in breast

0:35.6

implant illness and I've found he has this incredible deep knowledge of the kind of work that he does and he comes to this because he used to do

0:47.6

Reconstructive surgery for women after breast cancer and so he's a plastic surgeon who started listening to patients about breast implants and

0:56.2

really went deep on it and there's an episode you really want to listen to about that.

1:00.3

But when you're dealing with someone who's who's a master of their craft after doing it for 20 plus years,

1:07.0

they usually get a sense of what works and what doesn't work.

1:11.0

And I've been blessed to know thousands of doctors at this point and sometimes you meet someone who just knows a lot and is willing to speak the truth even if it's uncomfortable.

1:23.4

And the other side of Rob that you don't know about as much is his plastic surgery side.

1:30.0

And plastic surgery has, you know, the nip and tuck kind of duck lips and, you know, butt implants and all that kind of stuff.

1:38.8

I'm not that interested in butt implants and duck lips, neither is Rob but I'm having him on today because

1:46.3

we're going to talk about cosmetic treatments for your skin for your face for your body

1:51.5

cosmetic stuff including things that don't require cutting.

1:58.0

The reason I'm interested in this is if you're a long time listener you know that I used to weigh 300 pounds and I've lost

2:06.8

well more than 100 pounds at this point like probably 105 and I'm running around today around 6% body fat, maybe 6.5. And when you lose that much weight and you keep it off, well, you can have excess skin anywhere. And I know lots of formerly obese people

2:23.9

who went on the Bulletproof Diet and all

2:25.2

who just ended up having a surgery

2:26.8

to cut a lot of skin out.

2:28.3

I don't like surgery if I can avoid it.

2:31.1

So, most of my extra skin was on my low back. So I had like folds. I'm almost like a kind of crumpled paper which I just didn't think was what I wanted for the next 130 plus years of my life?

2:45.0

So I said all right what can I do about this without just cutting into it and I met Rob and he's like I got you.
