It is already Wednesday. I don't know where the time's going at the moment.

It's really, really fast. It's running past me like you can't believe.

You have to try and keep up.

There's an awful lot of news, as you would expect today.

Prime Minister's Questions of course with Kirstama and Rishi Sunak. Great piece in the sun today by Douglas

Murray, about 5 million Britons who are paid for not working. Meanwhile, we keep importing

more and more people to do the jobs for them. There's something wrong with that picture. William

Clostner is here with us from the Social Democratic Party. We'll find out from him what can we do to fix this particular dilemma. One piece of good news is the HMRC civil

servants are on strike today so if you've got any tax problems, they won't be solving them for you.

So that's the strike today that we have to deal with. There's some rail strikes coming at the

weekend, of course, in case you're trying to get to the Eurovision song contest, which I'm not, but you won't be able to go anywhere else either, which is a bit of a problem. Coming up as well,

we'll be talking about the House of Lords, because now as good a time as any to ask the

question, what is the point of it? We've got Suella Braviman, the Home Secretary, saying to them,

do your duty, stand up for the people of this country and don't mess about

with our bill.

It sounds a little bit anti-democratic, doesn't it?

I mean, that's what they're there for, whether you like it or not.

That's what they're there for.

They will be doing that.
