If you're stuck in a relationship quandary, or if you're looking for sexual harmony,

well, there's nothing you can't ask on the Savage Lovecast. So, the governor of Tennessee, Bill Lee, signed that state's anti-drag bill

last week. It is now a crime punishable by up to six years in prison for repeat offenses

to do drag anywhere a child might see you in Tennessee, even in Nashville, where every day

children can watch entire bachelorette parties puke off the backs of party tractors rolling

up and down city streets. This new law could also make it illegal for a trans person to leave the

house dressed in their own clothing. The law is ambiguous in how to enforce the law, whether raid drag bars to make sure everyone in them is over 21,

or harass trans people seen in public, or to do spot genital checks on, I guess, everybody

to make sure some passing trans person didn't slip out of the house undetected.

That's going to be left up to

local police departments in Tennessee, which all but guarantees that the law will be used to

harass trans people in public and drag performers in clubs. This bill, as I pointed out at the top

of last week's show, this clearly unconstitutional law was signed by

Bill Lee, who also just signed a monstrous law, criminalizing gender affirming care for minors.

And Bill Lee once appeared in drag in public at a school and, boy, oh boy, girl, oh girl. Governor Lee lee she does not like being asked about what she

done did in 1977 at a press event the governor was confronted with that photo and he called any

comparison between the drag show bill and a yearbook snapshot, ridiculous.

What a ridiculous, ridiculous question that is.

Conflating something like that to sexualized entertainment in front of children, which is a very

serious subject.

Okay, it's all harmless hijinks when they do it.
