I was going to open this week's show riffing on something Michael Steele said on MSNBC last week.

He's the former chairman of the Republican Party, and he has had it with Trump supporters who refused to take COVID-19 seriously.

I'm exhausted. I'm exasperated. You know, at this point, it's like, save who you can save,

because there's only so much you can do. There's only so much you can say.

The fact that we have to, we have to literally beg people to wear a mask to save their own dumbass from getting sick.

I'm sorry.

I just, to me, it is, it is beyond the imagination.

Yeah, this was going to be another opening rant about masks. I probably ranted enough about masks at the top of the show, but I was going to do it again because lives

are at stake. And then Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Friday, as you may have heard. Within hours, within

minutes, the same Republican assholes who refused

to allow Barack Obama to appoint someone to the Supreme Court after Antonin Scalia died in 2016,

because it was the February before a presidential election and the voters needed to be allowed

to weigh in. those same Republicans announced

that they would fast track Trump's nominee to replace Ginsburg in late September of a presidential

election year. Because rules and norms, including brand new rules pulled right out of Mitch

McConnell's ass four short years ago, they're for Democrats, not Republicans. The hypocrisy here, it's just so

obvious. It's so glaringly obvious. It's hardly worth the breath to point it out. But I'm going to

anyway. When a black Democrat is president, we can't vote on a new Supreme Court justice
