Here's something I expect to see more of in the next year or so.

Mississippi passed an abortion ban, banning abortions after 15 weeks.

It was struck down by a judge because it's clearly, currently unconstitutional.

So Mississippi turned around and passed a six-week abortion ban and then had to face the same judge who made it very clear he's going to strike this one down to and ask Mississippi what's next.

A two-week abortion ban?

Shitty states doing shitty things.

That's not what I'm referring to when I say expect to see more of this in the next year or so.

I'm referring to Mississippi House Representative Doug McLeod, who was arrested in his home this week after punching his wife in the face for failing in Doug's estimation to disrobe quickly enough so that he could have sex with her.

Doug McLeod, of course, is one of the sponsors of Mississippi's six-week abortion ban.

So anybody out there who tells you that this isn't about controlling women or feeling entitled to women's bodies and being able to dictate their choices,

that these abortion bans aren't misogynistic,

that they aren't kind of disguised, bankshot violence against women.

Might want to Google Doug McLeod and read all about the way this family values conservative,

this crusader for family values, this person with such respect for the sanctity of human life,

and respect for women,

which is why he says he endorsed the six-week ban, how he treats the women in his own life.

I think we're going to see more violent misogynist assholes like Doug McLeod exposing themselves

for who they actually are.
