A study published in the European Journal of Clinical Urology came to my attention over the weekend.

Actually, a doctor brought it to my attention via Instagram.

And for a second I thought about opening this week's show with it, because it's got a catchy title.

Men who drive sports cars suffer more from erectile dysfunction than the general population.

Hmm, who does not love a study that tells us something we kind of sort of want to be true.

I mean, those old dudes roaring down the street and flashy sports cars or on fucking Arleys,

they got to be overcompensating for

something, right?

Yeah, but nope, this study, study's bullshit.

Now, dudes in sports cars may very well be overcompensating for something for all sorts of

things, and I do have my own untested hypothesis.

As the body gets soft and hairy, the temptation to purchase yourself a hard and smooth

exoskeleton grows. I mean, they're called muscle cars for a reason, right? But yeah, no to this

study. Again, and sadly, the study that was passed around on the internet this weekend is

bullshit. And anyone who took a moment to really look at it, as I have learned to do, would have noticed that the authors include a lying ard and B-volvas. And the research was conducted at some obscur university or some obscure university. Get it? Oh, and the European Journal of Clinical Urology doesn't, you know, technically exist.

So that study that I was tempted to open the show with, and I guess I just did, didn't happen.

But some terrible things almost happened in the last week, and one terrible thing did happen.
