Remember how at the top of last week's show I said I wouldn't talk about politics at the top of this week show?

Yeah, I lied. The only sex topic that really aroused my interest this week was some research into the stark differences between the sexual fantasies of Republicans and Democrats.

This research was done by Dr. Justin Lay Miller, who you should be familiar with.

He's been on the show.

And it turns out that Republicans fantasize a lot about infidelity, mate swapping, group sex, cuckolding, you know, the party of family values.

And Democrats, the party of social justice, equity, equality, fantasize a lot about bondage,

S&M, dom-sub relationships, ravishment.

Because, of course, for Republicans, power imbalances are just another day at the office,

just the way things ought to be.

Well, for Dems, a power imbalance

is a great, big, fat, juicy, transgressive taboo. But, you know, talking about Justin's research

meant talking about politics. So I figured I might as well go ahead and talk about politics.

Even if it means breaking me semi-solum promise I kind of sort of made you last

Tuesday to give it a rest this Tuesday. I am, however, not going to make the mistake I made on a certain

Tuesday in November of 2016. I am not going to get all optimistic on your asses. I am not going to

make any sunny predictions about the results today because I am still hearing

from people who listen to the opening of that Tuesday show a couple of days later and are still

wrecked by it. I just want to say this. Whatever happens today, if please baby Jesus, the blue

wave is high enough to crash over the seawalls erected by corrupt Republicans and the advantages baked into our system for conservatives by our founding slave-owning fathers.
