But a couple of program notes. First, June 13th in Seattle, we are going to have a live taping of the Savage Lovecast in front of an audience at the Neptune Theater.

It's a benefit for Equal Rights Washington, which is the organization fighting to preserve the new gay marriage law in Washington State.

That's going on to the ballot most likely this November,

so we're going to help them raise some money by having a live, Savage Lovecast, live,

Another program note.

Famously, a few weeks ago, I said to a room with 3,000 high school students and

at journalism students that there was bullshit in the Bible.

And this caused a little fracas, a little kerfuffle, caused my Twitter feed to blow up with people screaming at me about the Bible.

One of those people screaming at me about the Bible was Brian Brown, the head of the National Organization for Marriage, who challenged me to a debate about the Bible and marriage and faith and whatever and said that

I could name the time and the place. And he said anytime, anywhere, savage, he threw down.

And I've actually been thinking about this for a couple of weeks. I didn't want to just

respond right away with here, then, now, I really wanted to think about this. I don't think

I'd really have an opportunity to debate Brian Brown ever again in my life. And, you know, I got a lot

of suggestions from readers and listeners of how and when and where, including, you know, audience

packed full of pro-gay marriage screamers, which he probably wouldn't agree to, but then he, you know, he said anytime, anywhere so I could totally stack a room and sell tickets and make it a fundraiser, perhaps, for Equal Rights Washington, or the organization in Maine that's fighting to legalize same-sex marriage there, or the organization of Minnesota that's fighting an anti-gay

marriage amendment to that state's constitution November. I could have done that. I could have been
