Before we get to your calls, I just want to say a quick word about sexting, which is the craze sweeping the nation where young people

who are minors who have cell phones and Facebook accounts and MySpace accounts and access to the

internet and email are and text messages are sending dirty pictures of their own genitalia and

tits and ass to each other and occasionally being arrested, occasionally being

bounced out of school, being suspended, because, you know, once you take a picture of your

own junk when you're a minor and send it somewhere, you're a child pornographer, according

to the law, which is completely ridiculous.

The law needs to catch up with the new technical reality, which is we've put into the hands of all young people, the means of pornography production. And of course, they arrive with an interest in pornography and with showing off in our post-Pariselt and universe. But what I really want to talk about really quickly was this case in Milwaukee where a kind of troubled gay teenager, an 18-year-old man, according to Fox News,

blackmailed a bunch of his fellow students by going online, posing as a girl, getting them to send him naked, dirty pictures of themselves,

and then using those pictures as blackmail to force those guys

or a handful of them into having sex with him. He threatened to send the photos out to their

other classmates, to their friends, their parents. And so he then basically coerced these boys

into having sex with him. Now, just so you know, there's a famous old New Yorker cartoon on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog and then shows a dog at a computer. On the internet, you don't know if it's a girl, you don't know if it's a boy, you don't know if it's a classmate, you don't know if it's, you know, the king of lithe of the fucking waning. You don't know who the hell it is. Don't send pictures, the person on the other line of the line.

Don't send anybody pictures of yourself online unless you know goddamn well who they are.

And even then, you shouldn't ever email a picture of yourself or text a picture of yourself or

sext.
