We'd like to begin this very special episode of the Savage Lovecast with a very distressing report out of Australia, courtesy of the BBC.

An Australian woman who's appeared in court in adelaide charged with murdering her

husband by setting fire to his penis she poured flammable liquid on his crotch while he was asleep and when

she set him alight the husband jumped out of bed and knocked over the substance causing the fire to spread

um he died in the fire uh they had their three children in the substance causing the fire to spread. He died in the fire.

They had their three children in the house at the time that the wife opted to set her husband's

junk on fire and their lives were endangered.

Now she's charged with murder because when you set somebody's dick on fire and they

burn to death, that is the charge that you can expect.

She says that she did this because, you know, she didn't want to kill him. Quote, I just wanted to burn his penis so it belongs to me

and no one else. I didn't mean this, meaning the murder, not the setting his penis alight, to happen.

You know, nothing quite says your penis belongs to me, quite like the loving application

of flammable liquids, the improper storage of accelerants, always placed a container of flammable

liquids out of the reach of the person you would tend to set a light, with reach defined,

in this case, as how far they'll jump once they realize their

genitals are on fire. And of course, risking the lodge of your children, teacher, father,
