Great controversy, the Gavin Newsom podcast. They're talking about it everywhere.

Now, before you begin criticizing me and saying, oh, you shouldn't have given him a platform.

Well, he gave me a platform. I was on his

podcast. And the fact is that I believe only dialogue can save this nation. We have to communicate

with those we disagree with most. You may say most on the left won't talk. Well, he will talk,

which is why he had me on his show. We live in

the same city. I knew his father may rest in peace, Judge Newsom, we go back a long way. We've

communicated behind the scenes through emails where I disagree with virtually every policy

that the governor has had since I've lived in this state. And he always has responded

to me respectfully and intelligently. And then I was quite shocked when he invited me on his

podcast. I don't know how that came about because I'm the most unknown man in the media,

even though I've been around longer than anybody in the media, to be

honest with you. So welcome again to the Michael Savage show. Governor Newsom and I, we spoke about

all the hot button issues, the issues that are dividing America. Immigration, the border,

illegal immigration, the myth of man-made climate change, the homeless bums in the street,

the decline of San Francisco. We actually had some moments of agreement when we talked about

health and nutrition, where he credits me with being one of the creators of the entire movement,

which is true. It absolutely is true. So back in years ago, I wrote a book called Stop the Coming Civil War.

It's always been my intent to prevent a civil war.
