1:08.0 | It was around that time that I began to recognize how amazing an athlete she is. |
1:16.0 | So our current goal is to run our second marathon, which is the New York City marathon coming up in November. |
1:26.0 | The quick backstory is that we started training for the 2020 Boston marathon. |
1:32.0 | And I was at about mile 16 of a training run on a magical day in March, which is about a month before the marathon. |
1:39.0 | Listening to the news as I ran and they decided that the world was going to close for COVID. |
1:43.0 | I stopped running immediately called for an Uber. |
1:49.0 | And just said, if I have no purpose in running, this is not my joy. |
1:53.0 | Here's the nature of my question. |
1:55.0 | I was battling with injuries then. |
1:58.0 | But when we ran a marathon last year, I engaged with a physical therapist who was marathon oriented. |
2:06.0 | And she gave me a series of strengthening exercises. |
2:10.0 | Think a lot of hip abduction, single leg squats, a little bit of agility, a little bit of stretching. |
