Mecca of boxing and you're at the forefront. Obviously the Prince and the royal family, but you are the Eddie her and so to speak the face of skill challenge. The face of skill challenge and boxing in Saudi right now. So congratulations on that. I appreciate it.

Many congratulations. I actually want to start there. Sure. So when did you get your start in boxing because I am familiar with you and I thought you were the manager of Badu Jack. Then I meet Mike Lee and already and he's like, no, I'm the manager and it's like, okay, well, I know that you have a relationship with Badu Jack and I've seen you around the Mayweather gym and fighters for a long time and then this amazing opportunity that I'm sure is life changing for you.

And something that you consider a blessing. So if you can just take us to the beginning way before meeting the Princess. I appreciate that. But first and foremost, thank you, Daniel and Nester for having me. I'm a big fan of the show. Thank you. I love what you guys do. I love what you guys do for the sport and the consistency that you have. I was telling Nester before that boxing has long been longing for, you know, a podcast of guys that know the sport aren't afraid to talk. Stir shit up a little bit when they need to. Can we swear on the show? Absolutely. Great.

So guys that, you know, have that kind of, you know, aura and demeanor. So kudos off to you guys. Thank you for having me on.

Step to step back about my, my beginning. I started the martial arts at the age of eight years old. Of course, my father forced me to get into it to kind of learn how to defend myself and gradually, you know, trend moved on to kickboxing.

And I loved the full contact aspect of the kickboxing. I had, you know, a great time. I had, you know, represented the United States in international competitions.

And when I started kickboxing, that's where I took my, that's where I really started, you know, getting that zest for real combat sports.

My heart was always in boxing. My father was a huge boxing fan, rest of soul. And, and, you know, that's where my heart always was.

And I never say regret. But if I ever had one thing that I would probably change my career, it would be to probably transition into boxing instead of continuing my kickboxing.

But, you know, I had a lot of success in kickboxing. And, and it was a very, you know, I loved using my legs because of the martial arts background.

And I loved the boxing aspect. And most of my training, if not all of it, was in boxing gyms.

And, you know, I, I turned pro October 20th of 2000.

It was the only fight that I ever had under a different promoter and the promoter was actually a good friend of mine.

And at the end of the fight, if you guys remember Angel Manfredi.

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely.

Yeah, exactly. He was actually the last fighter to be paid more than Floyd in any fight.

And then that was really when Floyd started, started really on the rise.

But Manfredi, you know, came in. He flew in to work my corner. Him and I were friends.

And I was at that time, three time amateur national champion.

So the pro debut was big. And it was against, you know, a guy named Sean Topkins who ended up being doing big.
