The news from Yemen needs to be treated with some caution.

There have been plenty of false dawns before,

but it seems the major players in the country

civil war are sitting down for peace talks.

There has been a ceasefire in Yemen for the past year,

but the hope now is that this can be made permanent

and not a moment too soon.
