Charlecler in the closing stages of the race but was Sergio Perez robbed a victory

and should the race have taken was Sergio Perez robbed a victory?

And should the race have taken place at all, given safety concerns?

I'm Ed Straw, and joining me to answer those questions,

Well, Scott, we're here in Jeddah.

Like the circuit, our hotel is only a few miles from the depot that everyone heard so much about

that was hit by missile on Friday. Certainly been the unusual weekend, hasn't it?

Yeah, it's been, it's been odd. It's been uneasy and tense at times. We've stayed in a

slightly different part of Jeddah this year to last year's race and seen a little bit of a

different side of it and I think a

better side of it give us slightly better impression of what the place is about but that positive

element has been drowned out by the rest of the problems you know we came to this race last year

we're here again I'm probably going to

come back if F1 sticks with it, but I can't remember having the same feeling as I've had this

week at any race I've ever done. There's already an awkward feeling around this race because

you come here or in the build-upup you know that there is that permanent human

rights issue then we had the news of the largest mass execution in the country's recent history

then there's the reports of Yemen rebel attacks on nearby facilities and then once we get here

there's actually a successful attack close to the circuit.
