I'm Lou Dobbs with this great America show midday update for September 30th,

which coincidentally happens to be the end of the federal government's fiscal year,

and tonight at midnight there could be a government shutdown.

But Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who's being mocked as weak and incompetent by both parties,

is trying to avoid that shutdown by passing a short-term spending bill

and would delay any shutdown for 45 days if he prevails.

Either way that vote goes, whether McCarthy wins or loses,

the only representatives who emerge from all of this with their integrity and intact

are the 21 Republicans who voted against McCarthy's compromise earlier and with the DIMS.

Such is the stuff of our national capital these days.

The Marxist DIMS junkyard jackal of a special prosecutor,

nasty jack smith, wants the Marxist DIMS judge in the president's classified documents case

to put out a gag order against President Trump.

And why?

Because President Trump makes incendiary statements and gets a lot of attention,

more than a Bolshevik thug like Smith.
