I'm Jerry Norton and after making millions of dollars over the past 20 years as a full-time

wholesaler, no one knows the business better. This will serve as a

comprehensive guide to start wholesaling real estate. Step one is to begin by educating yourself

about the fundamentals. Become a student of the business. Familiarize yourself with the concepts,

strategies, and best practices involved in successfully wholesaling. Now on your first deal,

focus on doing a successful transaction so that you can get the proof of concept. But if you

want to build a six-figure and even seven-figure income, you'll need to quickly transition from

doing a deal to building a business that does deals. A wholesaling business has systems and processes and a team

so that you can consistently do deals every month. Once you have a solid understanding of wholesaling,

step two is to research and identify your target market where you plan on doing deals. You could

choose your backyard market where you live or pick a remote market somewhere else.

Now to find a wholesale market by a metro area that one could feasibly drive from one end to the other in about an hour.

Now I recommend a market with at least $500,000 to a million in population, so you have enough opportunity for deals.

The good news about wholesaling where you live is you can go on appointment to meet

distressed sellers.

Face to face is always better because you can create a better relationship of trust than

over the phone.
