We do begin with President Trump's call for Ukraine

and Russia to end the fighting where the lines stand right now and his meeting with Ukraine's

president eager to secure long-range cruise missiles from the U.S. ABC News, senior White House

correspondent Selena Wang is in Washington with the latest. Good morning, Selena.

Hey, Janae, good morning. That's right. Ukraine Zelensky came to the White House to ask President Trump for those Tomahawk missiles.

But Zelensky did not walk away with the deal. President Trump is now hesitating on sending those powerful missiles to Ukraine.

Overnight, the high stakes meeting at the White House, President Trump's sitting down

with Ukraine's President Zelensky.

I think President Zelensky wants it done and I think President Putin want it done.

Trump expressing confidence that Russia's Vladimir Putin is ready to end the war.

But Zelensky is saying Putin is not, as Russia has only escalated its attacks.

Zelensky asking the president for long-range tomahawk missiles, weapons that can strike deep inside Russia.
