We are going to begin here with the travel chaos, the air travel disruptions, as a result of the longest government shutdown in history just weeks before the Thanksgiving travel surge.

And there are hundreds more flights canceled today. Good morning.

Exactly, Gio. Good morning. We're already seeing all of those

cancellations pouring in as more than 700 flights are canceled today as major airports across the

country are once again dealing with these flight reductions. This morning, travel upended

across the country after airlines canceled more than 1,000 flights yesterday to ease pressure on the embattled U.S. air traffic control system.

It's just absolutely ludicrous. This is they have to do something. Long lines and delays after airlines slash flights at 40 major airports under an emergency order from the FAA.

Richard Leverill rebooked twice for his flight

from Philly to Florida. Total headache, disaster nightmare. On Friday, Washington Reagan seeing a

four-hour average delay, Phoenix 90 minutes, while Chicago and Austin seeing roughly an hour delay.

Karen Soika's flight was rebooked, but out of a

different airport, she couldn't make the new flight. Are you ready for this? They rebooked me at a

JFK. An hour earlier with an 11-hour layover in some place called Port of Spain. Crazy, crazy.
