We do begin here with the latest developments involving the government shutdown.

The FAA says that nearly half, half of major air traffic control facilities are experiencing staffing shortages.

And listen to this, nearly 80% of air traffic controllers have called out at New York area facilities.

They've been working without pay for weeks now. It's a major

situation. Wow. So we will touch on that in just a moment. And there's also the battle over those

snap benefits. Food assistance, so many Americans rely on a federal judge making a critical ruling.

Jene. President Trump is at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, and lawmakers are also out of town,

but there's no end in sight, as the shutdown is now approaching the longest in American history,

and Americans are seriously beginning to see and feel the real impacts.

This morning, with SNAP food assistance set to run out, a federal judge ordering the Trump administration to continue funding the program that is used by nearly 42 million Americans.
