Yeah, more on that ahead. But we do begin here with President Trump's $10 billion lawsuit filed overnight against the Wall Street Journal over a letter the paper

says Trump allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday. ABC's Olivia Rubin is here

with more on that. Olivia, good morning. Yeah, good morning, Witt. It was an explosive day for President

Trump on a story he has repeatedly said he just wants people to stop talking about.

But he's now back in court in two ways,

and he's gearing up for what could be a lengthy legal process

that might not end anytime soon.

This morning, the Department of Justice now officially asking the courts

to unseal those grand jury transcripts in the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

It's a move that makes good on a recent promise from President Trump as he tries to find an off-ramp and tamped down some of that outrage coming from within his own base over his administration's handling of the case.

Trump saying, quote, based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein,

I've asked the Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent grand jury testimony,
