The five-year-old and his father picked up by masked armed federal officers in Minneapolis has been ordered, released by a federal judge in Texas.

In his written order, federal judge Fred Beery criticizes the federal government for its, quote,

ignorance of an American historical document called the Declaration of Independence and its grievances against a would-be authoritarian

king including he has sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people

excited domestic insurrection quartering large bodies of armed troops among us

and in peacetime keeping standing armies without the consent of our legislatures.

ABC's Chuck Sievertson, school officials said that the child and father had applied for asylum

and there was no deportation order for them. Meanwhile, a judge in Minnesota today denying an

emergency motion from state and local officials declining to issue a preliminary injunction

against ice operations in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

A dangerous winter storm slamming the southeast, strong winds, heavy snow could bring blizzard

conditions from eastern Georgia to Maryland. American Airlines just announcing all flights in and out of Charlotte canceled.

Meanwhile in Nashville, tens of thousands of residents have already been without power for
