Protests today in Greenland's capital,

Nuk, as crowds turned out to demonstrate against President Trump's repeated threats

to take control of Greenland, which is a territory of NATO ally Denmark.

Now a major escalation from the White House. The president posting that

Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland will face

10% tariffs starting on February 1st. Those tariffs are set to jump to 25% in June until, quote,

a deal is reached for the complete and total purchase of Greenland.

Now, those countries have sent small groups of military forces to Greenland to back our NATO-Aid Denmark,

which has long controlled the Arctic territory.

Another day of protests in Minnesota, tensions running high as federal agents and anti-ice

demonstrators take to the streets.

Late Friday, a Minneapolis judge handed down restrictions on ice tactics toward peaceful protesters

there, including using tear gas and making arrests.

It was brought by a number of protesters who said that they were unlawfully arrested

when they were just carrying out peaceful First Amendment protests.

So this is the judge sort of siding with them telling ICE that those sort of tactics

aren't allowed when people are just exercising their First Amendment right there.
