Plus, the body of a missing USF graduate student is found.

A man now arrested in connection with that case as the search intensifies for a second student still missing.

But we are going to begin here with that severe weather threat for millions of Americans.

Meteorologist Leslie Lopez is standing by with what we can expect in the coming hours here.

But first, ABC's Morgan Norwood is in Brantley County, Georgia, with the latest on the destruction caused by large wildfires there and powerful

tornadoes in the Midwest. Morgan, good morning. Hey, good morning to you, Gio. That's right. We've got

devastation on two fronts this morning here in Brantley County. Of course, Cruz continuing to battle

that raging wildfire just beyond the fire lines and the barricades right behind me here. They're hoping that the

rain later today slows down some of those flames, but millions in the Midwest and plains,

they're also bracing for yet another round of severe weather. This morning, millions back on alert

for severe weather as a powerful system is set to bear down on the plains in Midwest.

The Heartland already recovering from a multi-day tornado outbreak, 17 confirmed tornadoes ripping through the region on Thursday.

Oh my, my God!

In Oklahoma, a massive tornado touching down near Enid, caught on live television as it moved towards homes and businesses.

In its wake, entire neighborhoods shredded, homes reduced to debris.

KOCO reporter Jessica Shambach seeing the damage firsthand.

One of those tornadoes, a powerful

EF4. It was on the ground for nine miles in Enid. And this entire neighborhood is just about

leveled. About a dozen people were hurt. It's a miracle. No one was killed. And while the planes

begins to take stock of the damage, a different threat gaining ground in the south.
