Hey guys, welcome to the Real Life podcast. Today on the Special Satisfied series, I am so thrilled

because my dearest friend, Jenny Allen is here and I've been looking forward to this conversation

for so long just to talk about so many things about our colleagues, about doing battle in our mind

and about friendships, which is such a big thing that I write about and satisfied and also

such a big thing in life and with women too. So, Jenny, thank you so much for being on today.

I feel the same way I couldn't wait when I saw this on my calendar. I was so happy.

I love you guys. We love you and hey, I know probably every listener listening knows who you are

and what you do, but I just wanted to tell you, personally, well, we've known each other.

I feel like I've known you since Jeff and I were married. Which you were young when you got

married. So, you were, yes. How old? I was 25. A decade ago. Yes, it was and I remember our first

year of marriage, I read your book Anything and I was like, that book was so pivotal in my life

and then I read it again this last year and I'm like, it's so good and just continually praying,

like Lord, anything. And so, we've loved, like, you know, being with you guys these last

10 years or so, but I just wanted to say to you too, especially this last year, you have been

one of the biggest impacts in my life and just what you put out, what you write about, what you say.
