Hey everybody, producer Ryan here. This episode of The smartest man in the world is unique

in MacGreg recorded it outside on a sidewalk in Paris.

Because of this, the audio isn't the best and the audience is a little hard to hear,

So exciting to be here for the bells and notuton were ringing ladies and gentlemen.

It's nice to know that Quasimodo still at his job.

A lot of times Americans are going to go, you play in Paris, do they get your jokes over there?

And I'm like, yeah, because most of the people are English speakers that come to the show.

Tonight, exactly, I have no idea. So it's very exciting for me.

And people often ask me this gig too. What's your favorite place to play? What's your favorite city?

And I'll say Paris and they'll go, why? And I'm like, because when you're done with the show, you're in Paris.

When you're done with the show in Cleveland, you're in fucking Cleveland.

I hope we can say Cleveland.

So I can't tell you how excited I am to be here. I'm almost jumping out of my skin with excitement.

We usually do it in low dives all over Paris. So this is the first time since I'm a fancy author now.

It's just we on comedian, 18 blogs at plenty.

And I'm used to playing low dives, like I said. So it's exciting to be in a place where literature is at the forefront.

And of course, being next to the sun.

I couldn't be more intimidated coming here, having a book called The smartest book in the world.

I don't think you really come to Paris and say your books, The smartest book in the world.

Even Henri Bernard Levitis and say his books, The smartest book in the world.

He might be the biggest asshole in the world, but his book is definitely not the smartest book in the world.
