Satan is the conversation today. We're going to be talking about Satan. If you

would open your Bibles please to 1st Peter chapter 5 verse 8. Last week I said

we're going to talk about spiritual warfare.

As I was continuing to study and prepare and look at this passage, the theme isn't spiritual

warfare in general.

It's specifically Satan.

And I thought, you know what?

I think we should talk about this because did you know that

Satanology is an actual branch of theology like there's soteriology which is

the doctrine of salvation.

There's theology, doctrines of God.

That's just like an overall branching thing.

But there's pneumatology, that's the doctrine

is about the Holy Spirit, Numa, Spirit.

And you have Satanology, no joke, which is a branch within angelology, it's kind of its own branch, in theology.

Now that being said, you don't need to remember any of those words but what we do need to

remember is that the Bible has specific things it teaches about Satan and it's

helpful for us to be equipped because people I think make one of two mistakes

often when it comes to the issue of Satan.

One mistake is they blame everything on Satan.
