Hello, attention, everybody. This is a typical intro because we are recording this part after we had recorded the other stuff. So basically, the movie Obsession came out in theaters. We didn't realize it was going to be something that we all wanted to see. But we also had a guest episode planned for this week.

And it was already, you know, a lot to talk about with the guest.

We wanted to ask him a lot of questions.

And after having just recorded it, it did go on for over two hours.

So it wouldn't have made sense to try and fit the obsession discussion in with the guest present because it was already late for him.

And we didn't want to make him commit to seeing another entire movie to discuss when he's already doing as a favor by being on the podcast. So we decided we could just record our thoughts about this movie after talking with the guest and then place it at the beginning of the episode.

It's going to be a chunky episode. Who cares? Where did this film come from? Like,

it's just sideswiped everybody and like, I've blown everyone out. I'm so mad that I missed it because I think it did premiere as Midnight Madness at TIF last year. It did. Yeah, I was reading that. Yeah. And I wasn't even aware of the director as a YouTube presence. Like, I wasn't. Me neither. It just wasn't in my algorithm is what an Oscar voter would say about. Fucking the Palm Door winner. I think it's like big on TikTok, right? Apparently, yeah, I'm not really a TikTok boy. He's got a big YouTube channel. I've seen a few of them. Like, I've been watching some of them since, seeing the movie.

And they're really funny. And I find that really interesting, that kind of overlap of the comedy and the horror and finding that. But, yeah, the balance there. And it plays into the movie, I see. And Curry Barker directed some other, like, horror shorts that went pretty viral on YouTube. and also like an hour-long film called Milk and Serial,
