Thank you for having me, huge on social media and huge in real life for a feel it at the moment, it totally fakes me, just face the huge.

0:47.0

Well that's good, I love it, I love the hugeness right now. You are all huge, you are lovely size. I feel like a double deck of bus but there we go.

0:56.0

Third time around, do you feel bigger than the other two? It can be quite deceiving can't it? I can remember with Henry being like I have such a lovely neat bump.

1:03.0

And then James never having the heart to tell me actually I just kind of put weight on behind, from behind I was like well yeah, I am never really glowed but that's fine.

1:13.0

Oh really? I feel glowy, just my bonzer, I always think it's a bit mumpswet and permanently glowy.

1:22.0

Sarah tell me what kind of mum did you think you were going to be before you actually became a mum? Let's start there.

1:30.0

Probably kind of a classic case of expectation versus reality. I had all these ideas and visions of what I was going to be like as a mother.

1:40.0

And yeah, I basically failed to measure up to any of them because they were probably really unattainable in the first place.

1:51.0

I thought I was going to be like Maria from the sound of music to be honest. I just thought that there would be some kind of maternal almost like a cloak that would be bestowed upon me when I gave birth.

2:06.0

But then you would just know how to do things and you would just automatically be somebody that kind of glides through motherhood.

2:15.0

I imagined having at least one child strapped to my person at all times in some kind of a sling or a wrap that would be proficient at wrapping as I kind of made homemade foods.

2:26.0

I imagined myself kind of making homemade pesto and maybe even homemade pasta.

2:32.0

Because I'd have to time because the kids would be like napping on me or happy. And then what happened was basically.

2:42.0

I realized, I seem to realize that nothing is quite as straightforward as you imagine that it will be.

2:49.0

And I'm a nothing like them on my imagine. I don't think I'm a worse version of her. I'm just completely different and more realistic version.

2:57.0

So, you know, I never thought I would be one of those moms who shouts.

3:02.0

And I just have no patience as a mom compared to the patients I think I kind of acquired in everyday life.

3:11.0

So working stuff, I think I'm quite patient.

3:13.0

It's very repetitive though, is it?

3:15.0

It's just nothing. Nothing pushes your kind of in-patient frustration button like children that won't put their shoes on or children that sell you.
