membership to what was at the time in Acts 29 church looking for community and friendship.

Sarah was a bright and bold spirit in her church.

She was a fierce advocate for herself and others.

But leadership did not view Sarah's input as worthy, and she was dismissed and patronized.

Over time, Sarah realized that what would be best for her was for her to leave the church.

So she left graciously and set clear boundaries for any future interactions.

But those boundaries were not honored,

and leadership would not allow Sarah to leave on her own terms.

Because for the church leadership, being right was more important than Sarah's dignity.
