The podcast starts sort of in the middle of a conversation.

And for some reason, again, maybe because I have a cold

and I'm gonna have brain fog,

I felt like now is the right time to just come up with an impromptu welcoming to the show.

I mean I'm happy to be a pioneer in that regard and also hello thank you so much for having me on. I am excited and honored to be here. I am

excited and honored as well. I'm going to go ahead and just very quickly off the cuff ask you.

Like when you say pioneer what I need to warn you is that if you had to go to a Mormon church as a child, the word pioneer has this very lofty association that I've never been able to shed.

Like I can't not here you know when someone says

pioneer I understand that like there's pioneers in all fields and pioneers

weren't just Mormons who were occasionally killing other white people and Indians to get where they needed to go.
