Those videos catapulted her into the national spotlight,

and that transition wasn't always easy. She addresses all of that in her new book,

Foolish, Tales of Assimulation, Determination, and Humiliation. Cooper sat down with Morning Edition

host Lel Faddle, and they talked about her meteoric rise,

how she learned she was black and why she admits she's jealous of men. Here's Leila Faddle.
