Welcome. Welcome to Middays. I'm Susie Larson, and I'm always honored to get to spend this time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's word,

and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

You know, when you read scripture, it's so clear you can see and hear God's heart for those

the world overlooks, discards. Jesus is passionate about helping the poor, caring for the

vulnerable, and standing in the gap for the voiceless.

You know, during this global pandemic, it's easy to get so focused on our own battles

that we forget those who live in abject poverty, who have babies that cannot care for.

What happens to those little babies?

How can we be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world's most vulnerable souls while at the

same time fighting our daily battles at home?

I don't think it's either

or. I think it's both and. In fact, I think it's during global crises like the one that we're in

that dreams are born, where you start to see a need and God moves in your heart and you fill it.
