retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Today, we have a follow-up to the continuing saga of Sarah Boone, who has just rejected a plea

deal, a plea deal which would have ensured that she would take a plea, plead guilty to manslaughter,

where the sentence could be no more than 15 years.

And potentially she could be out, because she's already served for, she could be out because she's already served for she could be out in four years

with good behavior if the department of corrections decided that she deserved such a plea however

she resoundedly just rejected the plea.

Again, this is the woman who has gone through eight attorneys in four years,

and that's why this case has taken so long to go to trial.

Eight attorneys.

Think of that.

She's on her ninth attorney. Why why you you may ask can't her attorney

convince her that pleading to manslaughter is in her best interests i think what this must be is

that she must just want the limelight.

She just wants to be in the limelight, wants this to be about her.

And you want this to be about you so that you can potentially be sentenced to either

22 to life or 25 to life and perhaps serve the rest of your life in prison.

I don't know why no one can convince her that it's in her best interest to plea to manslaughter.

But I guess I should know because she's gone through eight attorneys.

So obviously she's not an easy person to deal with,

or the attorney who's representing her now
