Hi, how are you? I'm good. Good. I'm glad to have you here. It's been a really big week. I'm exhausted. I feel like I've run a marathon. I am too. Like I was like, after yesterday's show, I was like, it's Friday, right? We're done? No, it's just the midweek. It's just the midweek. But it's hard to imagine a stronger start to the week. So yesterday we had on the vice president of the United States, J.D. Vance. It got a lot of attention, a lot of articles written, a lot of comments on social media. What did you make of what he had to say? So I read the book and he showed up the way I thought he would. I mean, I don't know how to answer it any better. He's a good politician. Yes. He came in, you know, with an agenda, but... Yeah, and prepared,

and he's, he's, for anyone who has thoughts about him, he's very kind in person. He carries himself a certain way. But I'm respectful.

All those things. I don't know how much I learned in that interview or had even clarification

in that interview. I kind of think the answers made sense for who he is. The explanations didn't live up to

what you'd hope for. And the thing I wanted to know the most, I didn't really hear.

Yeah. Well, so it's interesting because I saw a lot of people online wondering how we put these

segments together and how we decide who asks what and who works on it. And I saw some from people that are not fans of the show saying they're just reading what the producers gave them and yada, yada, yada. But you spent quite a bit of time. And we worked very, our producer Carly did a fantastic job with this segment, these segments. But you work with producers on what's important to you to talk about and really

craft your questions with them. And in particular, you had one question that I think was

very much from your heart and impactful and designed by you. Well, I think the background on

that is I'm not a political pundit. I don't come from a political world. I'm not the I'm kind of a

little nerdy on what I seek out to read about or care about. So it's not necessarily the best

stuff to produce on TV and all the things. I say that because I always ask myself before an interview,

if I had one question with this person, what do I want to know?
