It's the middle of the night in a small town on the Jersey shore.

Someone reports an abandoned car on a bridge.

A search gets underway for the missing driver, 19-year-old Sarah Stern.

Is it a missing person? Is it a suicide?

At this point, nobody knows.

Old friendships, buried cash, and a sinister plot that was once pitched as a movie, plays out in real life.

Okay.

So I had been out to dinner with a group of girlfriends, who I adore.

So for anybody that really thinks they were doing me dirty, they were not.

They're the sweetest group. We had so much fun. I come home and I hadn't looked in the mirror and I go to wash off my makeup and I'm like, and then I thought, how long has that been there? And I panicked. So I wrote the girls. But again, they are so fun, but we don't see each other a lot. So this was really fun that we all got together. And literally the excuses are down the text chain. I sent it. So basically you came home, you looked in the mirror, horrified. Yeah, and I said, were my eyes like this at dinner? Yes. And one by one, it's like, oh my gosh, to be honest, I noticed, but I thought it was the lighting in there.

I only noticed at the very end when we got to different lighting.
