We've been on Bobby's show Talking Giants and both Nick and I separately, but we've never, I realized we never had Bobby or Justin on. And so today we're going to do a fun show. We're obviously going to get to some of the stuff that Bobby can provide that I know you guys love the film insights but i also wanted to talk to him about his journey into the industry and with talking giants this is kind of a throwback to another friend of mine who's in the

industry of the film insights, but I also wanted to talk to him about his journey into the industry and with talking giants. This is kind of a throwback to another friend of mine who's in the industry, not Giants industry, but fantasy football industry, Matt Harmon. You might know him from reception reception. His first podcast was called backyard banter, and he literally just had on fantasy analysts. They didn't talk about fantasy. They talked about the journey, and a lot of people liked it. So I thought it would be cool to get that going with Bobby today. But before we do any of that, we do want to talk to you about the news of the day because this interview happened to happen during a big breaking news day. And there's multiple news items, say, for the Giants. We'll talk about the Pup list players as well. But the big news today is the Giants came to an agreement with Saquan Barkley. He will sign a deal. It's a one-year deal a little bit more than the franchise

tag. What was your initial reaction to this, Bobby? So I floated out last week that maybe they could

get some type of deal done and then put a clause in that, hey, there's going to be no franchise tag next year.

Like we're eliminating that or it being $2 million more just to get him to camp.

So when I first saw it, I'm like, okay, there's got, you know, when you see the money,

it's like that's got to be the tag clause.

And then you find out the tag clause is not in there.

But then you find it and then you find out the incentives are higher than what he did last year, plus making

the playoffs where it's like, man, he's never reached these incentives, really, besides

the receptions and the touchdowns his rookie season.

And it's like this, it's kind of been a lost start of the player taking a team friendly and doing what's best for the team over his self-interest like we don't see that anymore it's kind of a lost art and

Saquan Barclay did that which is kind of like it's it threw you into shock because it's like this doesn't make any sense for Saquan

barclay besides the fact that he just wants to be a giant and be in camp and continue to try and be the face of the franchise.

It was somewhat surprising to me.

I mean, after all the drama and the deliberation and him going on the podcast,

which I know happened prior to the Giants, not actually giving him to the long term contract,

it did seem like that the Se Sequin contract agreement, it reminded me

a little bit of the Nathan for you episode, Dan, where when Nathan convinces the Craigslist guy

...
