I'm intimately familiar with Santa Monica.

For the last 17 years, I have lived within a mile and a half and go there frequently.

To walk at Palisades Park, which is along the cliff overlooking the beach, to walk on the beach itself,

to go to restaurants, to go to shops for years, the Third Street Promenade.

I've been going there with my family since we moved here.

So over 30 years. And the last 17,

I've been maybe a three, four minute ride. So you can't BS me. I remember what it was great.

I remember when it was one of the nicest places I'd ever seen and really enjoyed. And our family did a lot of great stuff.

And I went to the promenade every year, did much of my Christmas shopping in Santa Monica place, which is an adjacent ball. And I know what destroyed it because I watched it on a day

by day, week by week basis. You were just there. I was there last night. And I was very,

actually, I was very uncomfortable and very scared.

And my son, who was in from Pennsylvania, he thought I was crazy.

And I was explaining to him everything that's going on there.

And I felt extremely paranoid walking from the parking structure to Santa Monica Place.

We were going to have dinner, and we did have dinner, at a restaurant there.

And I have not felt that uncomfortable and nervous in a place like that.
