0:02.8	You know, we've been working really hard on the next season of Chasing Life, but in the
0:06.2	meantime, we decided to dig into the CNN archives to share a documentary on a topic that
0:11.8	I've spent a lot of time reporting on over the last 10 years.

0:17.1	It was back in 2013 when I started exploring the topic in a CNN documentary called Weed,
0:25.6	and I have to tell you, it really opened my eyes to the potential benefits of medical
0:30.6	marijuana.
0:31.6	In fact, I eventually came to realize that before 2013, just being completely candid here,
0:38.2	I had been too dismissive of patients whose symptoms had improved on cannabis.
0:43.4	I had been too quick to accept the drug enforcement agencies believe that marijuana had no
0:48.9	medical benefit.
0:50.7	Now as you listen to this, keep in mind that this hour was first broadcast 10 years ago,
0:56.0	2013, while a lot of laws and attitudes about marijuana use in the United States have changed
1:02.3	in the last 10 years, the truth behind the people, the truth behind the stories of the
